In both of the works in this series, densely layered masses of starburst forms are revolved in space by the currents of air that move naturally through the spaces in which they hang. Their shadows fall onto nearby surfaces creating a ghostly echo. The limited means used in the construction of these works give the illusion of pattern and orderly mathematical progression where there is, in fact, only the randomness of the artist's hand and eye.
